First attempt at marinating chicken. Success.
Note to self: 2 chicken breasts not enough for leftovers. Larger bags purchased today may help with marinating more than 2 at a time.
Broccoli is turning out to be a favorite to cook. Might be eating it too much. Three times in 5 nights, and have leftovers with it for eating at lunch. Also have leftovers of straight broccoli from tonight, will probably eat tomorrow.
Steamscience rig works again. Have to remember to use pots that aren't as wide. 5 minutes in rig might be a touch too little for larger pieces. Note to self: equalize size of broccoli better, just came across undercooked crunchy bit.
Cutting a pineapple was easier than anticipated. Cutting a pineapple with any sort of cut on finger leads to instant regret.
Note to self: Costco, while inexpensive and generally good, not the greatest source of tasty pineapple. $1 might just be too low for an entire pineapple.
Rice. Expands more than anticipated, will have to experiment with smaller amounts in future.
Teriyaki chicken with rice and pineapples with a side of broccoli: Success.
After Consumption note: possibly too salty. Follow recommended 4 hours of chicken marinade instead of near 24 in future. Tongue still burning.
